tips

You have made a wise decision in choosing to tan in a comfortable, controlled atmosphere. Our goal is to help you achieve the best tan possible while teaching you how to avoid sunburn and overexposure. That’s what we call "Smart Tanning." Smart Tanning involves following the exposure schedule designed for your skin type. Exposure schedules are available on all of our equipment.

Precautions you should take to maximize your enjoyment of your tanning:

  1. Protect your eyes with required eye protection. (available for purchase)
  2. Protect your lips with lip balms or sunscreens.
  3. Cover previously unexposed areas for the majority of your tanning time for the first few visits. Gradually increase exposure to these areas until they catch up with the rest.
  4. Some medications can cause reactions with UV light. If you are taking medications, please let one of our staff members know.
  5. Moisturize your skin! Moist skins tan best so we recommend you moisturize before and after each session.
